Uniforms and School Attire
To assist our students in the acquisition of approved Montverde Academy uniform attire, we utilize both Risse Brothers School Uniforms and our own MVA Campus Store. To ensure consistency and fairness, no other brands are permitted. It is the student’s responsibility to be dressed in accordance with the Student Handbook Policies.

The items listed below can only be found at Risse Brothers School Uniforms. Montverde Academy students may choose from a collection of khaki, plaid, or black clothing that includes pants, shorts, skorts (girls), and more. Selections vary by grade level.

Day students must purchase their uniforms items directly from Risse Brothers School Uniforms. You can place orders online at rissebrothers.com by creating an account, by calling (407) 554-2253, or by visiting the store at their new location after April 21 at 14035 W. Boarding students will be taken to Risse Brothers School Uniforms during registration by MVA staff to purchase their uniform items. Additionally, the MVA Campus Store (located in the Duncan Student Center) will be open during registration for purchasing jackets and other items. Required/optional items found only at MVA Campus Store are listed below. These items do not include uniform pants, vest, shorts, sweaters, polos, oxfords, belts, skorts, or any other items listed in the Risse Brothers School Uniforms items in the above yellow boxes.

• Youth & adult Pack-n-Go rain jacket (required grades Pre-K3–5)
• PE uniform (mandatory grades 6-7)
• Boys & girls socks
General School Dress: For Middle and Upper School students, the dress uniform must be worn throughout the academic day every Wednesday. The dress uniform will also be required for special functions as designated by the Head of School.
Clothing may not be altered in any way without prior approval from the Dean of Students. Students who alter uniforms without permission may be required to purchase replacement items. This does not apply to standard alterations made to ensure proper fit.
What is Wednesday Dress?
Worn each Wednesday during the school year,* Wednesday Dress is a mandatory uniform, different than the daily uniform that is specific in attire for grades 6-12.

The jackets can be worn any time of the year, but are mainly for cooler weather.
*Unless otherwise directed by Head of School.
**Middle School students are required to wear the vest as part of their Wednesday Dress. The tie is optional. Upper School students must wear either the vest or the tie, and can also choose to wear both.
