Established in 1912, Montverde Academy is a coeducational independent college preparatory boarding school for grades 7-12 and postgraduate studies and day school for grades Pre-K3-12 and postgraduate studies. Nestled on a beautiful 125-acre campus in central Florida, Montverde Academy is accredited by FCIS, SAIS, and FKC, and has been accredited by AdvancED-SACS since 1927.

We believe that learning is much more than knowledge gained in the classroom. Our campus is a unique combination of students from over 70 nations, where together you can gain life-changing experiences in the sharing of diversity and cultures. Nearly 80% of our faculty have more than 10 years of teaching experience and 70% carry advanced degress. Many of our educators serve as club/organization advisors, mentors, and coaches. We also have an experienced dorm parent staff who work with the boarding population throughout their entire experience at Montverde Academy.

  • Married Couple Dorm Parents

    The Married Couple Dorm Parents report to the Dean of Students. The male dorm parent (husband) will serve as the main dorm parent in a boys dorm and the female dorm parent (wife) will serve as a relief dorm parent in a girls dorm. The Dorm Parents, serve as a "parent or mentor" figure to the boarding students providing the care, support, and supervision that create a living environment conducive to the social, personal, and intellectual development of young men and young women.   • Sports Turf Groundskeeper

    The Sports Turf Groundskeeper for Montverde Academy will be responsible for all soccer turf fields including mowing, weed-eating, weed-control, pest control, irrigation, and maintaining proper turf height level. Game preparation including goal setup, lining the fields, maintaining fertilizer schedule and other turf related maintenance procedures is also required. Position is full-time. Experience preferred.
