Summer FLEW by and the first day is less than a week away!
MVA faculty and staff are knee deep in work to be fully prepared when students arrive! We have prefects on campus already and campus is really bustling with positive energy! Students may find it interesting that we're in class as well - participating in workshops and professional development. It is an ongoing process here that our faculty and staff participate in as life-long learners ourselves.
Middle School Flight School was another successful launch of the year for our newest sixth grade students. Nearly 30 National Junior Honor Society members provided assistance to faculty, students and families, answering questions and giving tips, helping distribute iPads and setting up classrooms. Their work was greatly appreciated, as well as that of Mrs. Sara Parets who organized the details, ensuring Flight School was executed smoothly.
“After listening to Mr. Quick and Mrs. Adams at Open House, my wife Kristin and I feel confident that our son JC, who’s entering eighth grade, will be highly successful at MVA,” said Jeff Osterman, a new MVA parent. “The Middle School team has created a clear plan for each child’s growth in the class room and as a person. I’m sure he will gain knowledge and build self-confidence that will benefit him for his entire life.”
