"Romeo & Juliet" Takes the Stage

The last performance of Montverde Academy’s theatre season is William Shakespeare’s most famous play, “Romeo & Juliet.” The tragic story of two young star-crossed lovers who vow to be together despite their feuding families, has been told many times on stage and screen.
Award-winning student actors, Aidan Fracker and Bella Crider, take on the leading roles, supported by an outstanding cast. The classic story of Romeo and Juliet, set in the city of Verona. The Montagues and Capulets are two feuding families, whose children, Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet, meet and fall in love. They have to hide their love from the world because they know that their parents will not allow them to be together. We follow their journey through twists and turns to the tragic outcome.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased HERE. Shows are in the Sandra O. Stephens Fine Arts Theatre on Friday and Saturday, April 26-27, at 7:00 p.m. with a matinee only on Sunday, April 28, at 3:00 p.m.
