MVA is excited to share that on Wednesday, April 3, we will host Todd Huston, a world record holder, amputee, author, and inventor committed to inspiring others. Survivor of a boating accident that ultimately forced him to have one leg amputated, he overcame many challenges to become a psychotherapist and clinical director of the Amputee Resource Center in California. He used his professional skills and personal experiences to help patients achieve more in their lives, trained health-care professionals, and wrote articles about his work with individuals coping with disabilities.
He wanted to do more to prove that anyone can overcome challenges. He set out to set a world record-setting Summit America expedition by climbing to the highest elevations of all 50 states in only 66 days, 22 hours and 47 minutes, shattering the original record by 35 days! His achievement led him to be featured in many publications, interviewed on network news, radio shows, and more. He is a regular contributor to Huffington Post and authored the book, “More Than Mountains: The Todd Huston Story.”
MVA welcomes Todd, as he shares his story to help everyone realize that they can reach new heights of well-being, success and happiness. Parents are welcome to join us for Todd’s presentation which will be held in the Nest at 11:45 a.m.
