The Montverde Academy girls’ soccer program officially launched the Montverde International Futbol Club (MIFC) which will start in Fall 2019. MIFC is dedicated to promoting total athletic development in every student-athlete in partnership with one of the best private school settings in the country. This experience will provide each player with the proper training and learning opportunities needed to perform at the collegiate and professional levels.
"MIFC is an accumulation of the past eight years of experience at Montverde Academy,” said Robbie Aristodemo, Head Varsity Coach and Director of MIFC. “Each year we add key components that we feel continually raises the bar on total athletic and academic development. Over the years we have been able to achieve significant success, we now want to offer our methods to other female athletes that are looking to reach their full potential."
Coach Aristodemo has more than 25 years of coaching and professional playing experience. While at MVA, he has led the girls' soccer team to three consecutive State Championships and won back-to-back titles in 2018 and 2019. Coach Aristodemo and his team are committed to developing and improving the talents and athleticism of female student-athletes. The goal for MIFC is to develop young women for the next level in their soccer career with the balance of training and academics, while incorporating yearlong college exposure. Student-athletes will be required to invest time and effort to achieve the best performance possible both academically and athletically.
