Established in 1912, Montverde Academy is a coeducational independent college preparatory boarding school for grades 7-12 and postgraduate studies and day school for grades Pre-K3-12 and postgraduate studies. Nestled on a beautiful 130-acre campus in central Florida, Montverde Academy is accredited by FCIS, SAIS, and FKC, and has been accredited by AdvancED-SACS since 1927.

We believe that learning is much more than knowledge gained in the classroom. Our campus is a unique combination of students from over 70 nations, where together you can gain life-changing experiences in the sharing of diversity and cultures. Nearly 80% of our faculty have more than 10 years of teaching experience and 70% carry advanced degress. Many of our educators serve as club/organization advisors, mentors, and coaches. We also have an experienced dorm parent staff who work with the boarding population throughout their entire experience at Montverde Academy.

    The Grounds Maintenance position is responsible for baseball and softball field set up. This requires general maintenance on field grounds, including mowing, weed-eating, weed-control, pest control, irrigation; maintaining proper turf height level.

    The Theater Technical Director will direct the operation, maintenance, design, modification, and fabrication of all sound, lighting, video, set, mechanical rigging, and related technical systems used in support of stage productions, meetings, exhibits, and any other related event occurring in the Stephens Media Arts Building.     Job description: To be sure that the vehicles that are driven on campus are in safe and working order from a pre and post trip inspection.  Drive routes to pick up and drop off students in morning and afternoons based on a trip report for each route.  Cleaning of the inside and outside of the vehicles along with making sure the vehicle fluids and fuel are topped off.  This position will directly report to the Director of Facilities.
