FAQs for Returning Parents
Answers for frequently asked questions.
- What is continuous enrollment?
- When can I apply for financial assistance?
- Can I change my payment options from year-to-year?
What is continuous enrollment?
Continuous Enrollment means that once your child (Pre-K3 – Grade 12) is accepted into the Academy, they will automatically remain enrolled until they graduate, unless either the parents/guardians or the school decide to make a change. Here are the key points to remember:
- Tuition Notifications: Families will receive a notice about potential tuition increases in December, along with a reminder about the annual deposit invoice.
- Decision Deadline: Parents must decide whether to continue enrollment for the following school year by January 31. This includes selection of payment plan and submission of deposit.
- Non-Returning Form: If you choose not to return, you need to complete and submit a non-returning form to the business office.
- Automatic Enrollment: If the form is not submitted by the deadline, your child will be automatically enrolled for the next year, and applicable tuition and fees will apply.
This policy helps ensure a smooth transition for students and families each year.
When can I apply for financial assistance?
- Returning families can apply through FACTS beginning October 1.
- All documents must be completed, including submission of tax documents by December 11.

Do I have to repay my financial aid?
Does FACTS and the Committee consider all of my expenses?

- High vehicle payments

- Significant loans, college tuition expenses, and costly vacations.
Can I appeal a decision?
Do both parents have to be employed to receive financial aid?
- Yes, if there are no dependents living at home, and all children are in school.
- In the event of an exception, we will estimate a salary for the non-working spouse.
- Parents who are divorced or separated must each complete the FACTS application.
- The income, expenses, assets, and liabilities of both parents are considered.
- The custodial parent is responsible for ensuring that the FACTS application is completed by everyone and that all required tax documents are submitted on time.
