Rising Sixth Graders Experience Middle School for the First Time

Rising Sixth Graders Experience Middle School for the First Time

Our campus was buzzing with excitement as rising sixth graders stepped into Middle School life for the first time! These incoming sixth graders had the chance to explore what their future looks like—both inside and outside the classroom. From eating lunch during the Middle School lunch period to hanging out outside during outdoor break time, they got a real taste of the day-to-day Middle School experience.

As part of their visit, the fifth graders rotated through five engaging sessions led by current sixth graders, designed to help them feel confident and ready for next year:

1- Organization – “How do you manage it all?”

2- Academics – “How do you succeed in class?”

3- Friendships – “How do you build good ones?”

4- Citizenship – “How do you stay on track?”

5. Getting Involved & Enrichments – “How do you have fun?”

This visit was all about easing nerves, answering questions, and showing our future Middle Schoolers that while the transition may feel big, they have a whole team ready to help them succeed. We can’t wait to officially welcome the Class of 2032 this fall—Middle School has so much in store for you!
