Montverde Academy Seniors Launch AI-Powered Startup to Transform Business Proposals

Montverde Academy Seniors Launch AI-Powered Startup to Transform Business Proposals

At Montverde Academy, innovation isn’t confined to the classroom; it is being built in real time. Seniors Noan Borel and Ben Savage are doing just that with the launch of their startup, UseProposly.com, a web-based platform designed to simplify and strengthen how businesses create and close client proposals.

From Classroom to Startup Mindset

Both students have a strong entrepreneurial background shaped during their time at Montverde Academy.

Noan began exploring business early, from running a pressure washing service to launching a digital marketing agency that generated millions of views for clients. His growing interest in artificial intelligence led him to experiment with emerging tools and even build previous startups, including an AI travel concept. Through these experiences, he developed a deep understanding of sales, automation, and product development.

Noan will continue his global business journey at IE University in Madrid, where he plans to study business administration and further immerse himself in the startup ecosystem.

Ben, originally from Seattle, discovered his passion for entrepreneurship through hands-on projects during high school. While some early ventures didn’t succeed, they provided valuable lessons in marketing, sales, and persistence. Over the summer and throughout the school year, Ben also launched a jewelry brand, Vanta (vanta.pw), which remains operational today. While still growing, the experience gave him a deeper understanding of brand identity, marketing strategy, and building a social media presence across platforms like TikTok and Instagram, while strengthening his skills in sales and market analysis.

More recently, his work helping a family member modernize a pool construction business revealed a key gap in how traditional companies adapt to new technology, an insight that would directly shape UseProposly.

Ben will attend the University of Miami, where he plans to major in entrepreneurship.

Identifying a Real-World Problem

The idea for UseProposly came from Noan’s direct work with local businesses. While helping companies implement AI tools, he noticed a recurring issue: proposals, often lengthy, complex, and time-consuming, were slowing down operations and costing businesses potential clients.

Rather than replacing existing workflows, Noan and Ben saw an opportunity to improve them.

“We wanted to create something that fits into what businesses are already doing,” Noan explained. “Not disrupt it. But make it better, faster, and more effective.”

How UseProposly Works

UseProposly is a web-based platform that transforms traditional proposals into clear, interactive, client-friendly experiences.

Instead of sending dense documents, businesses can upload their existing proposals and instantly generate a streamlined, visually organized version that includes:

  • A concise, AI-generated summary

  • Clearly outlined pricing, timeline, and scope of work

  • Integrated company credibility, such as reviews and past projects

  • Built-in actions like “accept proposal” or “request a call”

But what truly sets the platform apart is its data-driven insight system.

When a client views a proposal, UseProposly tracks engagement, such as which sections they spend the most time on and how often they revisit the document. The platform then uses AI to provide actionable recommendations, helping businesses follow up more effectively and increase their chances of closing the deal.

For example, if a client repeatedly reviews pricing or revisits the proposal multiple times, the system may suggest timely follow-ups or tailored talking points for the next conversation.

“It’s like giving business owners an assistant that not only organizes their proposals, but also tells them exactly what to do next,” said Ben.

Built for Simplicity and Accessibility

A core principle behind UseProposly is frictionless design.

Unlike many software platforms that require onboarding and training, UseProposly is intentionally simple:

  • No downloads required

  • No steep learning curve

  • Just upload, share, and track

The founders describe it as a “bridge” to AI, especially for business owners who may not yet be comfortable adopting new technologies.

“We’re not trying to give them another tool they have to learn,” explained Ben. “We’re giving them their time back.”

From MVP to “Minimum Lovable Product”

While many startups begin with a “minimum viable product,” Noan and Ben took a slightly different approach by building what they call a “minimum lovable product.”

Their goal wasn’t just functionality, but immediate value: a product that businesses would not only use but genuinely appreciate from day one.

Currently in its early stages, UseProposly is being tested with potential clients and continues to evolve based on feedback.

Looking Ahead

As the platform grows, the founders envision expanding its capabilities even further. Future plans include leveraging collected data to train proprietary AI models that can:

  • Predict which proposals are most likely to succeed

  • Automatically generate optimized proposals from simple inputs

  • Personalize content based on client behavior and preferences

Ultimately, the goal is to transform proposal creation into a seamless, intelligent process, one that adapts to both the business and the customer.

An MVA Mindset

The success of UseProposly reflects more than just technical skill; it highlights the entrepreneurial culture fostered at Montverde Academy.

Through curiosity, experimentation, and real-world application, Noan and Ben have turned an idea into a working product in a matter of weeks, demonstrating what’s possible when innovation meets initiative.

As they prepare to take their next steps at universities across the globe, one thing is clear: this is just the beginning.
