Five MVA Students Selected for Prestigious FMEA All-State Ensembles

Congratulations to these outstanding Montverde Academy music students who have successfully auditioned and been accepted into the prestigious Florida Music Education Association (FMEA) All-State Ensembles!

• Jason El-Bacha (grade 7) – All-State Middle School Mixed Choir and All-State Guitar Ensemble
• Kyra El-Bacha (grade 4) – All-State Elementary Choir
• Connor Goff (grade 9) – All-State High School TTBB Choir
• Eason Li (grade 8) – All-State Middle School Honors Orchestra
• Sophia Liu (grade 10) – All-State High School Honors Orchestra

These talented musicians will represent Montverde Academy among Florida’s finest student performers this January at the FMEA Conference in Tampa.

This year marks an especially remarkable milestone for the Academy’s music program: both Jason and Kyra El-Bacha were selected for FMEA All-State ensembles—a first for two members of the same family. Jason also made MVA history by earning a place in two different ensembles, the first student ever to achieve this distinction.
