Bridget Robbins Expands Support for Jamaican Communities

Rising senior Bridget Robbins is continuing to make a difference in her second home of Jamaica through her ongoing philanthropic efforts.

After receiving her paycheck from her fourth summer as an MVA Summer Camp counselor, Bridget traveled to Jamaica to support the National Netball Team, donating essential hygiene products and additional fans for the team’s residence. The cause is especially meaningful to Bridget as the home was partially furnished by her late grandparents.

Bridget also continued her support of students at St. Martin de Porres Catholic School, providing school supply scholarships and financial assistance to two outstanding members of the school's Art Club, a program she helped inspire through her Spark Your Art initiative.

Her work is far from over. Bridget is already planning two additional projects this year: a fundraiser to support the rebuilding of Manning’s School and a Christmas toy drive for children affected by Hurricane Melissa. Through each initiative, Bridget continues to use her time, talents, and resources to support communities across Jamaica.
