We are a coeducational, independent, international college preparatory school for boarding students in grades 7-12, and day students in grades Pre-K3-12 and post graduate representing more than 90 nationalities.
Dormitories will remain open for boarding students during the Thanksgiving Holiday. For cautionary purposes, international travel is highly discouraged for boarding students. (Parents may visit Central Florida). Day families are advised to limit exposure from travel.
Whether it's in science, mathematics, the humanities, or the arts, our students excel in a wide range of college-level coursework. With a qualifying rate on Advanced Placement examinations that far exceeds state and national averages - 80%, compared to 54% in Florida and 60% globally - our students enter college well-prepared for continued academic excellence.
College Acceptance Rate
We know the important role that college admissions plays in each student's future. Our dedicated College Guidance staff works with students throughout their time in the Upper School to make sure every one of our students finds the college or university that's right for them.
Faculty with Advanced Degrees
We recognize the value of life-long learning, and our faculty and staff's engagement in ongoing professional development and their pursuit of advanced degrees reflects our commitment to being a community of learners.
When our students have identified a concentrated area of interest, they can elect to take part in a comprehensive plan of study that leads to a specialized diploma program in one of six areas. In the arts, STEM, health sciences, media, social sciences, or business, these students work with faculty in additional study and complete a capstone project during their senior year.
Clubs and Societies
In addition to honor societies such as the National Honor Society and the Cum Laude Society, our students are engaged in a diverse group of clubs and societies that reflect their wide-ranging interests - from Key Club, to knitting, to computers, to recycling, there's something for everyone to enjoy!
Required Community Service Hours
Our students know that our character is defined by our relationships with others. Giving back matters, and each Upper School student volunteers at least 25 hours every year in the community through our partnerships with organizations such as Give Kids the World and the Johan Cruyff Foundation.
