The soccer program at the academy is a very unique program. The team is made up of student athletes from all over the world. Brazil, Columbia, Spain, UK, Germany, Holland, Mexico, Switzerland, Africa, Argentina, Peru, Venezuela, France, Jamaica, Korea, Japan, Italy and the USA make up this international team. It is a chance of a lifetime to play on such a diverse team. Each player's skills and experience will grow as the team becomes one. There are players who don't speak any English but once the ball is at their foot the language of soccer becomes fluent. The team environment is more like a group of brothers and players who find themselves surrounded by friendship. The players will play many games over the year and will be challenged at the highest skill level at practice and competition. The team will play an average of 40 games and travel to tournaments. The team continues to be a dominating force in the state. The program has won six back to back District Championships and has made the final four for three years running. Coach Monteleone has led the team for the past five years. The team's record of 117 wins and 10 defeats has kept the program striving for excellence. The team continues to grow and new players enter play at the highest level every year. It is such an amazing experience to be part of such an incredible program. Players form relationships that will last a lifetime.
