Montverde Academy welcomes applications from families throughout the year. Although it is suggested that families apply one year prior to the year their child would begin the Academy due to the competitive nature of the admissions process.

Montverde Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities made available to students at the school. Montverde Academy does not discriminate on the basis of disability, race, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, athletic and other school administered programs.

The Admissions Committee evaluates applicants on the basis of the application form, the applicant's academic and social history, school and teacher recommendations, a personal interview and admission test scores. Criteria for admission are also dependent upon the ability and desire to commit to a challenging academic college preparatory program and the applicant's desire to attend Montverde Academy.

Special consideration is given to qualified children of faculty, alumni and siblings currently attending Montverde Academy.
