Music

The Singing Eagles soar their way through music every day at Montverde Academy. With choirs, bands, orchestras, and Symphonic Band Club, students receive ample opportunity to make musical expressions. Students sing, dance, and play a multitude of instruments in the music department located in the Sandra O. Stephen’s Fine Arts Building. Budding musicians can take Piano I, II, III, IV, Advanced Piano, Music History, Music Appreciation, Musical Theatre, Performance Techniques, and AP Music Theory as well as choir, select choir, band, and orchestra.

After school the Academy offers private lessons in voice, piano, classical guitar, and band and orchestra instruments. We are proud of the number of students who graduate from Montverde Academy and continue to study music at the college level. Montverde Academy offers an extensive and comprehensive music program for the novice musician as well as the seasoned student. Everyone is welcome in the music rooms at Montverde Academy.
