At Montverde Academy, we continually strive to balance our college preparatory curriculum with an equally rigorous athletic program. The Tennis program is no exception. Although traditionally some consider tennis to be an individual sport, here at the Academy our program has been set up to develop the "Team" concept for school competition. Our tennis team is made up of students from MVA who train with the National Tennis Academy Directed By Ripley Amell and the fitness component directed by Pat Etcheberry two leaders in the tennis industry which is headquartered at Montverde Academy. Students from around the world chose the National Tennis Academy Boarding Tennis Academy for one reason, college placement! NTA host a variety of college recruitment camps throughout the year.

Our diversity from European and Asian countries has given our team depth and illustrates our exceptional skill set. Players have backgrounds on different court surfaces, so whether they play a serve-and-volley game or maintain strong stokes from the base line, the Boy's and Girl's teams are consistent in preserving their strong reputation for competition. It also doesn’t hurt the fact that at any time Pat is training some of the top WTA and ATP players preparing for upcoming masters and grand slam tournaments. www.nationaltennisacademy.com
