Cross Country - Boys and Girls

Trust the process.  That's the driving idea behing Montverde Academy's boys and girls cross country team, as students learn to have faith in a long-term challenging training regimen.  Through consistent personal effort, runners see themselves improve over time in a sport that requires both mental and physical strength and endurance.

Runners compete both individually and as part of a team in invitational meets including the Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic, the Edgewater Invitational, and the FLRunners.com Invitational. 

Three years ago, Head Coach Troy Urquhart took on the challenge of growing a team.  The team trains with Coach Urquhart on the challenging hills of Montverde and the surrounding area.
