Athletic Complex Nears Completion

Our state-of-the art Athletic Complex is nearing completion. The baseball field itself is ready, and the bleachers will be added during the summer. The inaugural baseball game was hosted in May with Dr. Walter Stephens throwing out the first pitch before a huge crowd of students and fans alike. 

The new facility also includes a new softball field for girls; a new baseball field; 8 batting cages for softball and baseball; 8 tennis courts; an 8 lane running track with an interior center field large enough for football, soccer and lacrosse; a putting green with adjacent sand traps and a building for simulated golf instruction; a cross country/walking trail around the complex, and a park like area on the lake front for a future pavilion to hold social events.
